HeveaHub is a multidisciplinary, cross-cultural research initiative focused on traditional techniques involving natural rubber and their implementation in contemporary art and design contexts. The project seeks to foster connections among diverse craft communities and individuals who utilize traditional methods, integrating natural pigments, textiles, fibers, and other organic materials.

These elements are essential to processes that not only transform the color or appearance of natural latex, but also enhance its stability, durability, and overall performance. The aim is to compile a comprehensive material compendium that explores, documents, and communicates artisanal methods of latex production across Latin America, Asia, and Europe. Ultimately, the goal is to translate this ancestral knowledge into a contemporary, circular, sustainable, and intersectional material—available below.
