The expansive paintings embody a fusion of material exploration, craftsmanship, and personal emotions, rhythm, and movements. In the craft of coating textiles with latex lies a centuries-old tradition in Mexico. I had the privilege of learning this technique from Master El Compita in Misantla, Mexico. This technique became a catalyst for the visualization of emotions, which I transformed into an "Action" through the interplay of body and movement in the textile coating process. Veo Rojo emerged as a series composed of seven artifacts (paintings), which are to be understood as a visualization or manifestation of a transformative act of self-liberation. In Veo Rojo, I engage in an "Action," entering a trance-like state where my body is animated by rhythms, and using my entire body, my hands move across the canvases. I allow myself to release emotions, process traumas, or repaint stories.
